AIA Portland Chapter Praises Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building Rennovation
In the November 12th edition of the Daily Journal of Commerce, it was referenced that many of the judges felt that the Design Awards projects entered by the Portland AIA Chapter lacked innovation, attention to urbanism and needed a higher level of design for both interiors and exteriors. However, the one project that received praise from the judges was the Award Winning Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building renovation. The project received a merit award for what the judges considered a "thoughtful transformation that incorporated many sustainable elements." Albina was the bender/roller on this awarding winning project.
