Bent Structural Steel Provides Curved Roof Trusses for Ogden Clinic in Centerville, Utah
Albina Co., Inc. recently bent 11,000# of 50 foot lengths of W21 x 62# A992 structural steel the hard way to produce some curved roof trusses. In addition to the bent wide flange, Albina also bent various sizes of tube steel ranging from 8" x 8" x .375" wall to 18" x 6" x .500" wall both the hard way and the easy way down to a 23'-0" outside radius. Albina has been involved in numerous hospital and clinic remodels and new construction builds. Albina provides curved roof trusses and canopies for many industries. Some other noteworthy projects include: a) 24" OD x 1" wall pipe 46' 0" outside radius bent within PFI standards St. Mary's Center for Health Reno, NV.canopies and curved roof trusses b) 125,000# of Tube Steel rolled to AESS standards. The material ranged from TS 10" x6" x .375" wall to TS 20" x 8" x. 625' wall for the New South Main Health Clinic in Utah.curved roof trusses and canopies
Bent Structural Steel Provides Curved Roof Trusses for New Denver International Airport Hotel
Albina recently bent 38,000# of 45 foot lengths of W14 x 99# A992 structural steel the hard way to a 31'-3 5/8" inside radius. Albina also bent 10,000# of 40 foot lengths of W21 x 62# A992 structural steel the hard way to a 81'-1-3/4" outside radius. Finally, Albina bent 22,000# of 50 foot lengths of W21 x 44# A992 structural steel the hard way to a 81'-1-3/4" outside radius. Albina has been involved in many airport renovations. We specialize in curved roof trusses, canopies and entry-ways. We also provide handrail kits and spiral staircases.
Albina Bends and Fabricates Steam Coils for Sulphur Melters
Albina Co., Inc. recently bent, trimmed and tack welded 48 pieces of 1" Sch40 A53B ERW pipe to create steam coils for sulphur melters. Sulphur melters are either above ground tanks or inground pits with steam coils for melting the sulphur. Coils may be fabricated in trombone, helical and other shapes. The use of finned tubes will increase surface area and enhance heat transfer. As part of this same project, Albina cut, bent, drilled and tack welded 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/4" angle T304 S/S.
Structural Steel Bending for One Rincon Hill Building in San Francisco, CA.
Albina Co., Inc. is providing 20,000# of 60 foot lengths of Tube Steel 16" x 12" x .625" bent the hard way to a 127'-5-1/2" Inside Radius.  We are also providing 20,000# of 40 foot lengths of Tube Steel 20" x 12" x .625" bent the hard way to a 121'-5-1/2" Inside Radius. Tower Two at One Rincon Hill will feature new condominium-size residences with stunning San Francisco Bay views, space and several amenities. Tower Two at One Rincon Hill is a LEED Certified Building. We are excited to be part of this project.
Structural Steel Bending for a Pavilion Building in Hayward, CA.
Albina Co., Inc. is bending 23,000# of 48 foot lengths of Tube Steel 10" x 4" x .500" wall the easy-way to a 29'-9-1/2" centerline radius. We are also bending 18,000# of Tube Steel 10" x 6" x .375" wall the easy-way to a 27'-9-1/16" centerline radius. We have produced a number of bent steel pieces for many fabricators in the Hayward area as well as for the City of Hayward itself.
Structural Steel Bending for the Oregon State University Student Experience Center
Albina is providing 62,000# of  79' lengths of TS 20" x 12" x .500" wall A500 GR the Hard-way to a 101'-8" radius for a spiral staircase at the Student Experience Center at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. Albina is also providing 69 pieces of TS 6" x 3" x .313" wall A500 GR measuring 66' long for the project as well. Installation pictures coming soon!
New CNC Machine Ready to Produce Bent Steel Products at Albina Co., Inc.!
Albina's 50 mm horn CNC machine has arrived and is ready for production! This machine is a CNC bender with dual stack tooling 50 mm or 2.0" OD capacity. Features include an electric C-Axis with planetary gearing and a direct drive bend arm (no chains or belts) which allows .01 degree of accuracy. It is a high production tube and pipe bender and a great addition to our suite of bending machines.

Albina Co., Inc. Completes Office Renovation
We have experienced some tremendous growth and change at Albina Co., Inc. over the last few years including the acquisition of new machinery, new employees to meet the growing demand for bent steel products and most recently a rather extensive office remodel. We have created more offices for our growing staff as well as a state of the art conference room to host customer and vendor meetings. Our reception area underwent a facelift as well to create a more efficient workspace for our front office staff and to make our visitors feel even more welcome than before.
Albina Co., Inc. Hires New Estimator to Bid Fabrication Work
The last few years have been sensational for Albina Co., Inc. We have seen a great deal of change in our industry and have been fortunate to recognize growth in our capabilities, capacity and in our staff (both shop and office). We are excited to introduce the newest member of our Estimating / Project Management team, Nathan Marker. On December 2nd Nathan will be joining Aaron Hughes, Mike Swanda, Brian Smith, Mark King and Brad Lund in Albina’s Sales department.  Nathan has years of experience in the steel and fabrication industry. For the past 15 years Nathan has worked in shop environments and has recently worked as an estimator / PM for a local steel fabrication company. Nathan has developed an outstanding reputation in the steel industry, in fact; you may already have a solid working relationship with him. Nathan possesses a comprehensive work ethic and will service Albina’s customers just as you have grown accustomed to from the other members of our staff.
